TTB Industry Circular 2010-1, Alcohol Beverage Sampling Programs Target Advertising, Labeling, and Contents Compliance
TTB announces the establishment of two sampling programs. Through these programs TTB will determine the rate of compliance by the alcohol industry with Federal alcohol beverage laws and regulations regarding advertising, labeling, and product content on an annual basis. (01/20/10)

Notice No. 100, Drawback of Internal Revenue Taxes

It's official! Our next TTB Expo will be held in late spring or early summer of 2011 in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Future Expos will be held every other year after that. (12/03/09)

Italian Ambassador and Minister of Agriculture Meet with TTB Administrator
TTB Administrator met with the Italian Minister of Agriculture and with Italy's Ambassador to the United States to discuss the ongoing investigations into the improper blending of several Italian wines including Brunello di Montalcino.  (10/26/09)

Liquor Dealer Recordkeeping and Registration and Repeal of Certain Special (Occupational) Taxes
TTB has issued a temporary rule, T.D. TTB-79, concerning the repeal of certain special (occupational) taxes and the continued recordkeeping and registration requirements for dealers in distilled spirits, wines, and beer and manufacturers of nonbeverage products.  To electronically submit comments on the temporary rule, use the comment form for the related notice of proposed rulemaking, Notice No. 96, posted in Docket No. TTB-2009-0003 at Regulations.gov.  Comments are due on or before September 28, 2009.  (07/29/2009)
