TWO NEW WINE INDUSTRY CIRCULARS ON TTB.GOV

TTB issued two new industry circulars this week. The first, TTB Industry Circular 2007-2, concerns certification and analysis of U.S. wine for export to the European Community. The other, TTB Industry Circular 2007-3, provides information on country of origin certification requirements for imported wines and distilled spirits.

COLAs ONLINE WORKSHOP

We (TTB) will be conducting COLAs Online hands-on training on August 1, 2007, in Newark, NJ and on August 2, 2007, in New York, NY. Registration is required by July 26, 2007

KELLEN NAMED DIRECTOR OF UTAH DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL

Liquor-control commissioners on Wednesday appointed Dennis Kellen, a 30-year department veteran as director of the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Kellen has held the department's No. 2 spot as operations director for the past 32 years, and was briefly an acting director in 1975 and 1976. He replaces Kenneth Wynn, who resigned after serving for 30 years as department director.
