PROPOSAL TO ESTABLISH SNIPES MOUNTAIN VITICULTURAL AREA

TTB issued a notice of proposed rulemaking in the Federal Register proposing to establish the 4,145-acre "Snipes Mountain" viticultural area in Yakima County, Washington. TTB designates viticultural areas to allow vintners to better describe the origin of their wines and to allow consumers to better identify wines they may purchase.
